Maritime appoints Chris Lewis as Non-Executive Director

Maritime Transport Ltd. (Maritime) is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Lewis as Non-Executive Director; Chris, who commenced his appointment on 1st October 2019, will play a pivotal role in assisting the Board of Maritime Group with its ongoing strategy to develop all business areas including distribution, container, and intermodal transport.

With over thirty-five years’ experience in the ports and shipping industry, Chris will bring invaluable experience to the Board going forward, having previously held senior positions at Hutchison Ports UK and DP World as Chief Executive Officer, and DP World Southampton and London Gateway as Managing Director.

Over the years, Chris has developed a strong relationship with Maritime’s Group Executive Chairman, John Williams, and will support the business to foster closer relationships with the ports industry whilst contributing to the mentoring of the next generation of Maritime executives to prepare the company for its exciting future.
