Experienced Property Administrator – Looking for a challenging and rewarding career with a market leader? Maritime Transport one of the largest and most successful transport and logistics companies in the UK today and we are looking for a Property Administrator based at our modern Head Office, in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

As a Property Administrator you will be required to help manage our expanding property portfolio, as part of a hands-on, dynamic property team. You will  be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing administration relating to scheduled and unscheduled works throughout the country, as well as processing property-related orders and reconciling invoices.

Other key duties will include, but will not be limited to:

·       Maintaining an electronic, periodic works diary and updating any future, property-related IT systems

·       Monitoring all expenditure, from minor to major projects and facilities management

·       Monitoring utilities;’ usage

·       Ensuring trade discounts are received

·       Sourcing suppliers or materials to specific briefs and maintaining a supplier database

·       Ensuring contractor insurance and H&S compliance requirements are met

 As an experienced, competent, hard-working administrator with an eye for detail, you will be versatile and structured, capable of multi-tasking under pressure. You will be self-motivated, comfortable working on your own and as part of a team. IT literacy is essential (especially Excel) as is the ability to adapt easily to new IT systems. A confident communicator, perhaps with previous leadership experience, you will be keen to develop your role and responsibilities

Previous experience in property/facilities management is an advantage, as is a qualification in business administration, but neither are essential.

A highly competitive remuneration package will be based on experience to include contributory pension, life insurance, four weeks holiday raising to 5 per annum, plus bank holidays.
