19/08/2010 Night Operator/Lifter Driver [Northampton]

We will shortly be opening our new depot at Northampton and we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Night Operator/Lifter Driver based at Northampton starting soon.

You will be highly motivated and keen to develop your career in transport operations. A working knowledge of computerised traffic systems would be an advantage, but experience in container transport is not essential.

You will also be required to operate empty and loaded container handlers and service incoming vehicles overnight, as required. Whilst experience in container handling equipment is an advantage, it is not a prerequisite as full training will be provided.

We will shortly be opening our new depot at Northampton and we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Driver Administrator/Lifter Driver based at Northampton starting soon.

Supporting our Northampton transport operation, you will be an experienced administrator and an excellent communicator. You will be responsible for a number of important areas of driver administration and compliance including: Vehicle and trailer inspection and defect control, infringement control, driver recruitment and induction and processing drivers’ wages.

You will also be required to operate empty and loaded container handlers and service incoming vehicles, as required throughout the day. Whilst experience in container handling equipment is an advantage, it is not a prerequisite as full training will be provided.
