Integrated rail, road, and container storage from a strategically located inland terminal.

Located in North Lanarkshire, next to the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh and within easy reach of the M74, Mossend Rail Freight Terminal is the base for our haulage and logistics offering in Scotland. Connected directly to the West Coast Main Line, the site provides daily rail services to major deep-sea ports and loaded and empty container storage, with road haulage for container transport and curtainsided distribution operating from the same location. Bringing rail, road, and container storage together in the heart of Scotland’s central belt gives supply chains multiple low-carbon routes between Scottish markets, ports, and inland destinations. Ongoing investment to increase terminal capacity is strengthening Mossend’s ability to handle growing volumes, and remain a core part of Scotland’s intermodal freight infrastructure. See what Mossend offers below or contact our team to discuss your requirements.
