Maritime Transport, one of the most successful transport companies in the UK today and a market leader in logistics are looking for a HR & Payroll Administration Assistant to be based at our modern Head Office in Felixstowe.
From a small, five-site organisation we now have 35+ sites with a workforce of 2,600 in our ranks, with both of these numbers growing, and you could be part of it.
As a HR & Payroll Administration Assistant you will be required to carry out a range of administration duties as part of a small, friendly HR and Payroll team.
Activities would include the following, for which full training will be provided:
administering new joiners to the company including producing ID cards
administering electronic ‘self-service’ access and queries for employees
scanning documents to databases and electronic file storage
assisting the HR & Payroll team with other administrative tasks e.g. mail merge, absence cover
To apply you will be:
a bright, professional and hard-working individual
able to work as part of a team and able and willing to provide assistance to that team
able to receive instruction and act on that instruction
able to carry out a range of administration activities accurately and quickly
And you will have:
worked previously in an administrative role in a professional office environment
very good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in your work
good knowledge of MS office and computerised systems in general
educational qualification equivalent to at least Grade C in both maths and English
