From basic container depot services to complex reefer repairs and container conversions, we offer the widest range of ancillary, container-related services in the UK.
These services are backed up by an experienced team of trained, industry specialists, bespoke workshops and container yards. Our depots are open six days a week and we offer the flexibility to extend working hours on request.
Our management and engineering capability is second to none in the UK and our reputation for delivering high quality services has been built up over many years, by putting our customers first at all times. Whatever container support you need, we can help.
With state-of-the art container handlers and purpose-built container yards, we are able to handle large daily empty container throughput and short and longer term storage. We can offer dedicated customer stacking with stock rotation, if required, as well as box grading.
When required, empty containers can be evacuated from our depots to a pre-agreed programme to meet specific ship departures, taking into account road and port conditions and vessel cut off times.

We assess every container on in-gate and repair estimates are electronically processed and sent to you for approval via fax, email, edi, Cedex or IAS. We can also provide Gate Inspections, on wheels, to identify and segregate containers for repair, returning sound boxes to the port.
Containers are estimated to customer specified standards and stacked according to status, awaiting inspection or authorisation, if repairs are required. Once authorised, repairs are undertaken to IICL standards or as required by the customer and units are available at any time for post repair inspection.
Multiple container repairs can be carried out simultaneously, both externally and in our covered workshops. Whatever the type of container, unlike many repair agents, we have the skills in-house and workshop facilities to undertake even the most complex of repairs and refurbishments cost effectively. We employ all of our repair staff to maintain the highest quality control and flexibility at all times.

Increasingly, containers are being used for a wide range of second life applications, across all industries. Whatever use you have for containers, for example, from simple, secure storage units on construction sites to permanent homes, finished to the highest standards, we are able to offer competitive modification or conversion prices and work to detailed specifications. In many cases, we work as the sub-contractor on large scale projects, providing the necessary conversions, on time and to budget.
Containers have a wide range of second uses and some of the work that we have experience in includes:

Based at Felixstowe, we have one of the largest stocks of clip-on and trailer-mounted gensets for hire in the UK to provide power to reefers in transit by road. Our standard service includes supply, installation and fuel.
Units can be prepared for any type of export market. Containers can be selected and steam-cleaned to product or customer specific condition or to food-grade standard.
We can also supply and fit container liners, floor liners, malt bag kits liner or insulation kits as a cost effective alternative to reefer containers, for certain temperature-sensitive cargoes.
Whether it's a one off or a continuous high volume programme of cars for export, Maritime can provide expert lashing services to ensure the secure loading and safe delivery of your cargo. We are packer compliant approved for a number of global automotive companies.
With a secure, dedicated packing area for lashing, cars can arrive in advance of a loading programme and with flexible working arrangements, labour can be adjusted as required with containers delivered safely to the quay on completion, to meet tight vessel cut-offs.
