Northampton's new 'Off-Dock' solution
The new 3-acre depot on Brackmills Industrial Estate is located at the centre of the Golden Triangle on one of best distribution parks in the UK and is ideally placed to link with all of the major deep sea container port with easy access to the A14 and the M1 motorway.
Previously used for food manufacturing, the site was acquired from Danish food producer, Danisco. With demolition works completed, resurfacing underway and loaded lifting equipment on site, the facility is now ready to accommodate the first phase of operations.
The new depot offers customers loaded lifting and temporary off-dock storage, together with onward, local haulage. A total of 20 new vehicles are based at Brackmills, together with a 32-strong driving force and a small transport and container depot team of three.
