Maritime Transport is the fastest growing transport and logistics company in the UK today. To manage our property portfolio at Felixstowe, together with a number of Company-wide functions, we are creating a new role of Site Facilities & Procurement Supervisor. Based at our Head Office and reporting to the Regional Property Manager, your role will be wide-ranging and amongst other tasks, you will be responsible for the following:
Hard and soft maintenance for the sites within your responsibility, including planned and reactive repairs
Periodic inspections and servicing at all of our Felixstowe sites, including Head Office
Maintaining / updating an electronic, periodic works diary
Ensuring contractor insurance and H&S compliance requirements are met
Procurement of suppliers and contractors ensuring trade discounts are received
Company-wide, utilities & waste procurement
Company-wide management and supply of furnishings across Maritime depots.
You will be a measured, flexible, versatile, structured and hard-working individual able to work on your own and under pressure and give instruction to suppliers and staff, as required. Numerate, IT literate, (especially Excel), and a confident communicator, you will have experience in some or all of the aspects of this role and a multi-site environment. Full, clean driving licence is preferable. Please note, some periodic inspections may be best undertaken outside of normal business hours.
Secondary education, trade & H&S qualifications beneficial.
